Well I can't live for the day.

Cause it's only gonna fade away.

That's why that I have to stay, inside of a dream.

You look for reality.

But all the things that you see.

Could cost you, your sanity, inside of a dream.

I seem to recognize my home.

But I know living there, means living all the dreams I've dreamed alone.

Old Buddy is a friend of mine.

He's good enough to take the time.

Which isn't very hard to find, inside of a dream.

I heard he couldn't find his head.

Until he looked upon his bed.

And these are the words he said, inside of a dream.

I seem to recognize my home.

But I know living there, means living all the dreams I've dreamed alone.

Of all the things that are aloof,

The strangest seems to be the truth.

And hoping for it is uncouth, inside of a dream.

Living inside of a dream. (4 times )

Is all that it seems to be now.

To climb the impossible hill,

Is like a fight against the will.

To win is the only thrill, inside of a dream.
